Random Thought #1 - Condos
Aside from posting listings, I've decided to add some random-real-estate-related posts on this blog as well.
So here it goes for Random Thought #1 - Condos
I've noticed that the older condominium units are bigger than the new ones in the market. Most probably because it's more profitable to do so. However, I most certainly do not like the fact that some high end condominiums have super dooper small helper's/maid's quarters. Some quarters are shared with the laundry machine! When I saw this, I was shocked! I don't think they should sleep next to the dryer and washing machine - don't you think so too? Oh well! This is just my opinion. I hope the future developments would be designed more helper-friendly?

Projects: Stonecrest
Last Monday I was able to take a trip to Stonecrest, a subdivision in San Pedro, Laguna. I expected it to be a typical middle class subdivision but I was wrong. It turns out to be a very quaint 40hectare development by Landco. The houses look great and the surroundings as well. I could easily mistake it for an Ayala-like development but at a lower cost. For those who want a nice house but are a bit tight on cash, this is a perfect alternative.
Right now there are several lots still available for sale or if you prefer a brand new house ready - that's available too.
You can read more about Stonecrest at: http://www.landco.ph/project-portfolio/stonecrest/
If you want to take a trip and check out the place for yourself, let me know and we can set a date.
